A kiln waster of old Tokoname ware from Japanese middle ages, 13th century.
It seems to be a part of the rim of a jar. Very sharp and edgy shape.
Though only a shard, it is worth enjoying watching.
Also, it can be used in combination with a small flower vase,
or used as a pen pillow on the desk.
