京都の名工、帯山与兵衛（九代）による京名所の小皿揃いの中の一枚です。 桜が咲き誇っています。春の光景のようです。 画面中央に描かれる二連式の石橋がこの風景の最大の特徴で、五条坂の「西大谷」と思われます。浄土真宗の開祖、親鸞の墓所です。 門前の皓月池（こうげついけ）にかかる「円通橋（えんつうきょう）」は安政3年（1856）建立で、花崗岩製。真円を描く橋が水面に映った様子から「めがね橋」とも呼び親しまれてきました。 京都市内に唯一現存する、江戸時代の石造アーチ橋として知られています。 裏面の高台の内側に「帯山」印。 状態：細かな貫入に混ざって薄いニュウがあります。 口径　9.5cm 高さ　2.1cm 重さ　約68g 陶器 粟田焼　京都・日本　 明治時代　19～20世紀 A charming enameled ceramic small plate produced in Awata kiln in Kyoto, by Taizan Yohei Ⅸ.
